IceBox Refrigerated Trailers was established in 2015 and has grown to become one of the largest refrigerated trailer hire and sales companies in the UK. Our successful development has led to us becoming the sole UK importer and distributor of Wormann Trailers, a German based industry respected supplier of quality refrigerated trailers. Our continued expansion includes the development of a UK-wide franchise network to enable IceBox to become the only refrigerated trailer service supplier able to offer a truly national service provision.
Our refrigerated trailers are rented to a wide range of industries and businesses on both short and long term contracts and we are proud to be associated with household names such as McDonalds, Burger King and KFC, hotels such as De Vere Hotels, Walfdorf Hotels, Hilton Hotel Group and DoubleTree Hotels as well as organisations as diverse in nature as airports including Gatwick, Stansted and Luton, universities, schools and colleges, football and other sports clubs and event management and conference organisers. We are very proud of our high profile, our quality trailers and our unparalleled levels of customer service which has led to word of mouth referrals and a high level of repeat business.

Training & Development
IceBox Trailers provides each new franchisee with in depth training from our management team. We will assist you with the initial business set up and provide a two day one on one HQ based training session. We work very closely with each franchisee to ensure they are maximising the business opportunities available in their territory and thus reaping the rewards associated with being an IceBox Refrigerated Trailers franchisee.

Fleet / Insurance / Security
Our experienced operations team provides on-going support, guidance and assistance to each franchisee as required. The continued smooth running of each IceBox franchise is imperative and therefore each location is centrally monitored. Operational data such as trailer fleet utilisation, downtime, income generation and revenue source, delivery and collection statistics and more is captured, analysed and reported on allowing each franchise to analyse their own business and highlight strengths and weaknesses accordingly.
Fleet Supply & Insurance
Our appointment as sole UK distribution agents for Woermann Trailers, enables us to provide franchisees with extremely attractive terms on the acquisition of their refrigerated trailer fleet. We also offer very competitive leasing options to enable franchisees to supplement their fleet without long term financial commitment. We also have a fleet asset finance relationship in place which can, subject to status, extend to our franchisees.
Class leading communication and IT systems are at the heart of the IceBox development strategy. In-branch we operate an online system - Wheels - which is the management tool responsible for the control of the day to day operation of the location in terms of fleet usage, utilisation, customer data and the generation of rental agreements and documentation.
Our centralised systems facilitate central reservations, online payment portal, consolidated central billing and fleet yield and utilisation management. We offer the benefit of a full online and secure transactional facility to both retail and corporate customers allowing them to place reservations, make payments and monitor their bookings online.
Each franchisee benefits from their own individual local website (micro website) enabling franchisee-specific detail, information and offers to be displayed and regularly updated.
As part of our centralised digital marketing function, IceBox places local online marketing activities on behalf of franchisees thus ensuring that local marketing initiatives reach the intended local audience. Targeted Google Adwords campaigns together with Facebook and LinkedIn social media marketing activities provide enhanced exposure for our franchisees and the IceBox brand.
